Sony HVR-V1U
Not really a surprise, but Sony announced the 'pro' version of the HDR-FX7, the HVR-V1U . It's about $1,000 more than the FX7, and adds 24p recording, which is exciting for those that want to make something for film distribution (or even just film-like.)The other cool feature is support for recording to an external hard drive (the HVR-DR60.)
